The Going Home Program consists of two six-cassette audio albums, one for the Subject and one for the Support Group. Although some parts may seem similar, each is different in expression.
The Subject is guided through a progressive series of tapes that are described as learning exercises in remembering who you truly are. They lead the Subject into deep relaxation and increasingly into the experience of expansion into other states of awareness. With their use comes the knowingness that one is truly more than a physical body.
The first tape is an introduction to the factors and people behind the organization and production of Going Home. Two elements perform this function. Hemi-Sync technology demonstrates the pattern of Hemi-Sync sound developed for accelerated learning by the Monroe Institute, a major key to the effectiveness of the learning series. The second is Going Home Leaders, an audio introduction via recorded interviews and discussions with Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, Charles Tart, and Robert Monroe.
The second tape provides the beginning of an intensive learning program of differentiation between human mind/consciousness and the physical body. The first is the exercise Mind Awake, Body Asleep, which brings recognition that physical body signal input is not necessary to maintain active consciousness. This is demonstrated fully in the exercise Flying Free, where one soars high above both Earth and towering clouds.
On the third tape are key steps in knowing that we are indeed more than our physical bodies. The first is Remove and Release, a systematic exercise where one learns to detach from binding and restraining anxieties and concerns that prevent full expression of who we truly are. The second learning exercise is experiencing with full non-physical consciousness the Freedom Route to the Edge of Here and Now, where time no longer exists, and space is but a thought.
With the knowledge that human consciousness is much more than a physical body and certainly not dependent on it for continued existence, the fourth tape is a guided visit along the Freedom Route into those states of being just beyond time and space. It is called Touring Interstate. It is within this exploration that valid memory of who and what you are, including that of Home, may indeed occur. Based upon such experience, Moment of Revelation is available to verify again and again what you have perceived.
With extended knowledge based upon personal experience, the final tapes of the Going Home learning series provide the following exercises as ways and means to explore more widely, to do and be that which you desire:
Right of Passage - return to states of being that you know and understand along the Interstate. Homecoming - further selective tours of the Interstate.
Freedom Flight - reunion with the contacts already made.
Return to Revelation - Expand, remember, and hold that which you have experienced
. Some of the tapes for the Support Group are different from those of the Subject. There is a catnapper tape for a restful half-hour nap, and a tape for guidance into normal sleep with an emphasis on balancing and healing all aspects of self. The remaining tapes in the Support Group series are similar to the experiential tapes in the Subject series, with the exception that on the return back to normal waking consciousness, the Support Group tapes contain affirmations for their physical health and well-being. These affirmations are not included on the Subject tapes so as not to create conflict or dissonance because of the Subject's possible inability to conform to them.
Note that there is NO direct or subliminal suggestion in the Going Home learning exercises that the user terminate physical life existence. The program does provide a way to resolve any fears or emotional barriers related to this natural process. The decision and resolution to act accordingly based upon this different perspective is left entirely with the individual. Thus anyone can participate in Going Home learning, and benefit from the experience, especially those close to the dying loved one.
This is just a brief description of Going Home. Basically it is a way of helping people move through what might have been a time of fearfulness and confusion into a process which encourages growth and greater self-awareness during this important step of their life's journey.
